Based in West Wales, the largest supplier of Welsh produce is seeking an experienced Growing Manager to join their Farming Team. The organisation has a strong reputation for progressiveness and has recently invested significantly in a state-of-the-art packing facility and a new Prepared Vegetable operation. Their brands, Blas y Tir and Root Zero, are integral to their business in Wales and the UK.
Established over 40 years ago, this growing company supplies high-quality produce to UK supermarkets year-round and works closely with dedicated growers throughout the production process within their advanced potato factory.
The Growing Manager role involves planning and coordinating cultivation and planting activities, managing crop growth, and optimizing inputs to meet quality, service, and cost targets. Responsibilities also include tracking crop performance, collaborating with other managers, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
